About
Part blog. Part gallery. Mostly exploration.
I wasn’t always interested in art, design or furniture. In fact, it wasn’t until 2020 — during the peak of the COVID Pandemic — when I started to collect. It began as a way for me to fill the white walls of my loft in DTLA; from there, it spiraled into an obsession… maybe even an addiction?
PROJECT 1205 is a way for me to share my collecting journey (and wishlist) through text, photo and video. I have no formal education in Fine Arts or any design related field; however, I have a passion for all of it + I’ve been told I have a good eye & good taste.
My collection is largely inspired by intimacy, the human body, disco, the free love of the 1970s and artists / subjects / icons from the LGBTQIA+ community.
Most of the works profiled are from my personal collection between LA and NYC. Therefore, most aren’t for sale but… everything has a price.
Cheers!
